The former president's Family Member Receives Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

The rising star boasts substantial social media audience

Kai Trump can count on numerous high-profile backers when she starts her first LPGA appearance later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a special exemption to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, possesses numerous courses worldwide and regularly matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she stated.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa practically advised me to play and have fun," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has played in only three events this year and has the 461st position in AJGA standings.

Yet she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with her mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to different demographics, especially among younger fans.

Kai maintains substantial online presence and recently launched a personal clothing and lifestyle label.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
