Guten tag, fussball fans. How are you? Everything good I trust on this excellent early start to week 10 coming directly from Deutschland. Berlin's Olympic Stadium to be exact where at 8.30am CST/9.30am EST and 2.30pm GMT the mighty Indianapolis Colts (7-2) face off against the Atlanta Falcons (3-5). The fifth game played on soil in Germany and the first in the capital city.

Pre-match Key Moments

As sparkly jackets go that is an real standout from the Olympic figure skater on the opening flip. A minor slip from the broadcast team there as we hear “which team got the coin flip?” from the presenter with an unfortunately hot mic.

So, the coin toss went to Indianapolis and have chosen to get the ball first. Daniel Jones and company will be taking the field soon. Can the quarterback recover after a rough one in their last game?

Not to be outdone the singer belting out the Star Spangled Banner has some of the biggest shoulder embellishments you are bound to notice. The fashion picks are impressive today. We are almost underway after a choral number for the national anthem of Germany. Classy.

And we're off! And we have an exciting start after Jonathan Taylor receives a short throw, sweeps out for 15 yards to the right then loses the ball … only for his offensive lineman to recover the fumble with the recovery. Colts are in Falcons territory already.

And the drama keeps coming as the Colts go for it on 4th down. The gamble fails to pay off as the wide receiver fails to catch a fastball from the quarterback. Prior to the failed attempt Jessie Bates put a huge hit on tight end Mo Alie-Cox. The Falcons have come out fighting on defense as they attempt to end their three-game losing streak. Next up Sauce Garner’s debut!

Touchdown Updates

TOUCHDOWN! Colts 6-0 Falcons 8:36, 1st quarter

Did Kyle Pitts just drop a touchdown? The Falcons player makes a crucial error, he was very open but the ball just slips through his grasp. That play rather sums up the high draft pick's professional journey to date.

A disappointing start but it only gets worse for the Falcons as they cough the ball back to the Colts on the 23-yard mark. Michael Penix Jr is sacked and fumbles the football.

A nifty 22-yard run from Ashton Dulin sets Jonathan Taylor up to roll in for the score on the following play. Kicker Michael Badgley misses the point after attempt. Oops.

Penix Jr puts the fumble behind him by leading Atlanta on a long drive for a score of their own. Drake London makes some chunky receptions to put them in the scoring area then the seas part for Tyler Allgeier to saunter on to the goal line through the middle of the defense for 13 yards. He completes the drive for a short scoring run of his own. The Falcons take the lead.
