Barça to Host First Match at Upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday

Barça revealed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league two and a half years following their departure so building work could begin.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators can be present as per the current authorization. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach almost 105,000 spectators, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.
